Altar Guild seeking new members
Altar Guild members share a very specific ministry of serving the Lord with the responsibility of the care of the chancel area. The members care for paraments, communion ware, linens, robes, candles, baptismal and wedding supplies. Each active member selects 2 – 3 months to serve actively during the year. During those months, the group meets on Saturday or a day of their choosing for about an hour to prepare for Sunday’s worship. On Sunday morning, they make sure the acolyte is ready and last minute preparations are made. The regular monthly meetings are held in the parlor at 7 PM on the 3rd Monday, September through June. Communion is celebrated at all services. If you are interest in becoming a bread baker , usher, or Communion Server or Lector please call the church office. |
