St. Paul Early Education Center Now accepting applications for the 2008-2009 school year. (3-5 Year Olds Morning - Pre-K Afternoon) Philosophy of the Center St. Paul Early Education Center is a non-profit Christian center for young children and their families. It is a place where children are encouraged to develop their own unique, individual skills and talents. The center provides a healthy, loving child-centered environment to aid young children in their social, emotional, physical, intellectual and spiritual growth. Programs to support and encourage parents of young children are also provided as an integral part of our program. Staff The school is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of nine members, two of whom are parents of children in the early education center. Our faculty has been carefully selected for experience and love of children. All teachers have an Early Childhood Education Degree or a Bachelor's Degree in Education. All assistant teachers have experience and an Early Childhood Education degree or certification for the Department of Human Services. Curriculum The curriculum in all classes will include:

The Pre-K class uses different stories, activities and field experiences from the 4 year old class. Therefore, children may attend the 4 year old class prior to attending the Pre-K class. However, it is not necessary to do so. Child/Teacher Ratio 3-year olds 18/2 4-year olds 18/2 Pre-K 18/2 Parent Participation During the school year, a series of programs will be offered to assist and support parents of young children. Parents are welcome to visit the school. A conference will be held in March to discuss your child's progress. Information will be sent home regularly regarding the activities at the center. A meeting will be held for the parents to tour the facility, meet the staff and become familiar with the goals and objectives of the program. Tuition Supply/Registration fee: $40.00 per family plus $10 for each additional child.
If a second child attends, his/her tuition is reduced $10.00 each month. Scholarships There are a limited number of scholarships available to assist with tuition. Decisions, based on need, are made by the Scholarship Committee. All information is kept confidential within the Scholarship Committee. An application is included in each enrollment package.
