Confirmation 2007-2008 Objectives for Confirmation 2007-2008 will be to teach the basis of The Lutheran Faith. Everything will be supported with biblical scriptures and give validity to Luther's teachings. We will cover: The scriptures Old and New Testament. Class time will be on Sundays for 1 1/2 hours. 6:30-8:30 p.m. Gathering will start at 6:00 p.m. There will be youth services four times during the school year (on Sundays). I would like an entire worship with the youth handling it. The classes have been arranged to miss Christmas Break, the Super Bowl, and Easter. There will be 17 classes. The first class will be with the parents and the class on December 17th will be the Christmas party. Confirmation Sunday is May 18th. Parent's night will be the first night of class September 10th at 6:00 p.m. All students will be asked to bring desserts and drinks. This will be introductions and an overview of the year. The parents and students will be together. It is important that they understand what will happen. If it is their decision to become adult members, it is important that they hear how the year will be going.
